BIOGRAPHICAL

Dr. Yogesh Chawla did his M.B.B.S and M.D. (Medicine) from Jabalpur University, Madhya Pradesh. He did his D.M. (Gastroenterology) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.  He joined the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh as a Lecturer in Hepatology in October 1983 and rose to become Head, Department of Hepatology in November, 1995 and Professor and Head in December, 1999. He joined as the Director of the Institute on 7th October, 2011.
